Friends! I normally just post awesome pictures on here, but have not as of late because I am in Mexico. Anyways, I recently submitted a project to the UC Berkeley Human Rights Center Mobile Challenge, and now the voting has begun to see which of these projects will be presented at the conference.
My entry is called Aegis MX, and it is a way for people threatened by security forces to provide information and evidence to the human rights community and human rights lawyers.
If my project is one of the top ten, then I will get a chance to present it at UC Berkeley and get funding necessary to make it. While I would love the funding, I would love the chance to present my ideas to a group of like minded folks and get the chance to network with other conference attendees and figure out how to make this thing better. I think it can do a ton of good!
So, I know it is a total pain in the ass to vote in these things, but I would be so grateful if you could take ten minutes and show me some love. I promise, the pix will start flowing once again when I return.
